Board-certified in General Surgery and Obesity Medicine, Dr. Jorge practices as a private‑practice bariatric and general surgeon with Savannah River Advanced Surgery, PC, where he provides bariatric procedures, revision evaluations, and ongoing metabolic follow‑up. He is also the founder of LeanDreams, the virtual medical weight‑management program operated under the umbrella of Savannah River Advanced Surgery, PC, which helps patients improve metabolic health and body composition through evidence‑based, physician‑supervised care.

Dr. Jorge began his medical journey over 25 years ago as an active-duty Navy Corpsman, serving six years and completing a tour in Iraq in 2003 before becoming a civilian paramedic.
