Job Title: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner - Medical Weight Management (Remote)

We provide evidence-based, patient-first care by integrating medical expertise, holistic approaches, and obesity management medications (OMMs). We're seeking an experienced and dedicated Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) contractor to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct telehealth follow-up sessions and provide personalized weight management care. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a real difference in patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 20-30 minute telehealth follow-up sessions with patients (initially about 5 patients per week).

• Develop personalized treatment plans focused on long-term weight management success.

• Prescribe and manage obesity management medications (OMMs), including GLP-1 receptor agonists.

• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care.

• Utilize advanced electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document and track patient progress.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Nurse Practitioner license (required).

• Additional autonomous state licenses are highly preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical weight management and prescribing OMMs (required).

• Telemedicine experience with proficiency in virtual platforms and EMR systems.

• Spanish language skills are highly welcomed but not mandatory.

• Must possess personal malpractice insurance coverage.
